A SMALL CROSS
The path that you choose
May not always be right
The troubles that you have to deal with
May be more than you can handle at times
There will be times that you regret things you have done
There will be times that you will love
Nevertheless, there is one thing that you can be sure of
A small cross is a symbol to remind you
That I will always be there for you
So always, wear the symbol
And I will be there
When ever you need me just look at the small cross
And recall what I told you a long time ago
Close your eyes and I will be there
Look deep in your heart
And you will see
For if, I mean anything to you
The image you will see
Will be me
You can wear it on your shirt
You can wear it on a chain around your neck
But do not disrespect it
For if you do
I mean nothing to you
Wear yours and I will always be close
In times of trouble
Happy times and also sad
Just remember I will
Be there
So hold it close to your heart
And think about me for I will always be there
